Nomination for the KITE Award 2018

This course  was originally introduced in 2016 upon an idea and initiative by Jonathan Banz (Chair of Architecture and Art) and Ephraim Friedli (Chair of Geosensors and Engineering Geodesy). Its aim was to foster the collaboration between students with typically very different academic background and challenge them by creating projects which would require both creativity and technical rigor. In order to increase the diversity of challenges, enhance motivation and strengthen the students’ capabilities in setting realistic goals and carrying out effective teamwork,  the students define the goals of their specific projects themselves. This interdisciplinary course was nominated for the KITE Award 2018. Further information can be accessed at the website of the KITE Award.
